In some countries the adjustable spanner (wrench) is called an "english key". In the USA is also known as "crescent wrench" due to one of the original manufactures "Crescent Tools" just like the US calls tissue "Kleenex" or cotton applicators "Q-tips"... silly americans. LOL
and the standard spanner (wrench) is also known in some countries as "french key".
